AI is not just a technology initiative. It's a change management initiative rooted in human psychology.

The future of AI is still opaque, yet the message coming from every direction is that it will fundamentally transform how we work. That combination — high impact, high uncertainty — triggers a heightened stress response, and under stress, people fall back on their default patterns. Both reactions are legitimate, and both are being largely ignored by leaders focused on the technology itself. In the piece, I introduce a structured approach to AI change management that deliberately separates visionary thinkers from pragmatic operators — allowing each group to contribute from their natural strengths before bringing them together on final implementation. The companies that win with AI won't simply have better tools. They'll have a deeper understanding of how their people actually respond to uncertainty, disruption, and change.
